I knew it would be our retirement home the minute I saw it. My favorite book as a tween was The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. The bravery to run away from an abusive situation and take off on a raft with a runaway slave was fascinating to me! I still have some of them. So their food must be nutritious and filling! Today I continue to enjoy stories that show the resiliency of humans and the desire to make the world a more beautiful and caring place.
